Job summary

Sephora Group in Avon, IN is seeking a Manager, Operations - 2nd Shift to lead a large distribution center team in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise exempt and non-exempt staff, ensure safety, sanitation, and housekeeping, and drive continuous improvement across inbound, outbound, and inventory processes.

You will allocate labor and equipment, coach leaders, and collaborate with Maintenance, Asset Protection, HR, Finance, and other groups to meet service levels and budget targets

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of relevant work experience in a distribution center environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Blue Yonder, Autostore or Pouch Packing.
• Ability to delegate and develop exempt leaders and lead large teams up to 300 associates.
• Knowledge of distribution operating systems and all aspects of warehouse, production and logistics and transportation-related activities.
• Flexible and adaptive to respond to fast paced, high-volume environment.
• Proven analytical abilities and interpersonal skills.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team with operational excellence and supervise staff within the shift, focusing on safety and housekeeping.
• Allocate equipment and labor resources to meet service levels and budgets.
• Drive跨-functional collaboration with Maintenance, Asset Protection, HR, Finance, and other groups to align efforts across DCs.
• Develop and implement short and long-term plans aligned with company objectives.
• Coach and develop exempt leaders; support performance management and associate development.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure adherence to state, national, and company policies.
