Job summary

Sephora USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Supervisor, DC Operations for the Avon, IN distribution center.

This role oversees the day-to-day department activities, ensuring productivity, quality, safety and housekeeping targets are met, while coaching and developing a diverse team. You will spend the majority of time on the operational floor, guiding associates and temporary staff, and coordinating with leadership to drive efficient start-ups and smooth shift transitions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in high-tech distribution center operations
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience
• Strong communication skills, ability to multitask, and comfortability with computer/store systems
• Resilience and the ability to react to situations in-the-moment and stay aware of changing store priorities
• Flexible availability to work nights, overnights, weekends, early mornings and holidays as needed
• Consistent and reliable attendance
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend/stretch to move product, stand/walk the floor for entire shift

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day operation of a department within the Distribution Center
• Plan work to meet established timelines and supervise associates to achieve goals in productivity, quality, safety and housekeeping
• Drive results by setting clear expectations for team members and preparing incoming shifts for smooth start-up
• Provide coaching, feedback and development to associates, including temporary staff
• Collaborate with leadership to identify process improvements and ensure safe, compliant operations
