Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd shift forklift operator at our Holland, MI plant. You will safely operate powered industrial trucks, move pallets, and support inventory counts while following all safety and regulatory procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with continuous improvement efforts. English proficiency and basic computer skills are required, with standard full-time hours and weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English sufficiently to perform duties.
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Participate in training programs identified for this position.
• Assist in independent auditing activities and support continuous improvement.
• Operate forklift to move and stack materials safely.
• Load/unload materials and inventory for production flow.
• Weigh materials and record weights on tags and schedules.
• Recharge batteries or replace liquefied gas tank as needed.
