Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing seeks an experienced forklift operator for the Holland, MI plant on a 6AM–6PM M-TH shift. The role involves safe operation of lifting devices, material movement, inventory handling, and supporting continuous improvement. Strong attention to safety, reliability, and teamwork is essential.

Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 month of related experience or training. Proactive communication and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Load, unload, and move materials using lifting devices; operate forklift/HiLo.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and supply materials to work areas as needed.
• Weigh materials and record data on production schedules or labels.
• Rotate through job responsibilities to support plant flow.
