Job summary

SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Olathe, KS. You will lead a manufacturing team, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while applying lean methods to improve operations.

Responsibilities include staffing, coaching, production scheduling, and partnering with HR to address performance issues. A strong focus on training and developing hourly staff is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Union environment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency with ERP and inventory systems.
• HVAC industry knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the manufacturing team to ensure safe, on-time production.
• Incorporate continuous improvement and lean initiatives across operations.
• Coordinate with production planning to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and equipment readiness; conduct investigations as needed.
• Manage training, performance reviews, and employee relations.
