Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Houston, TX, seeks a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee make-to-order, precision component manufacturing including CNC and manual machining. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity while guiding a team of about 26 operators, machinists, and assemblers.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, coaching, and performance assessments, with a 3:00 pm–12:00 am shift and a bonus plan tied to performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ supervisory production experience, preferably in a high mix manufacturing and machining environment.
• Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience reading drawings and blueprints; strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise manufacturing processes in a safe, efficient manner to meet on-time delivery and profitability.
• Plan, schedule, and direct hourly workforce to meet daily production plans.
• Organize work to optimize labor, machines, and material; supervise 2nd shift.
