Job summary

Dover Precision Components seeks a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor in Houston to oversee CNC and manual machining operations. You will manage a team of ~26, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and coordinate with plant leadership to hit production goals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in supervisory production, lean manufacturing experience, and strong problem-solving and training skills. Excellent communication and ERP/MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of supervisory production experience in a high-mix manufacturing/machining environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to motivate a team to maintain safety, quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2nd shift machining operations, ensuring safety, quality and on-time shipment.
• Plan team support, schedule adherence, and direct hourly workforce to meet daily plans.
• Lead shift meetings, enforce safety protocols, and participate in improvement activities.
