Job summary

Dover Precision Components is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor in Houston, TX. You will lead a 26-person hourly team across CNC and manual machining, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes organizing work, optimizing labor and equipment utilization, and collaborating with plant leadership to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of supervisory production experience in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and continuous improvement experience.
• Ability to lead, train, and mentor a diverse team and meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2nd shift of ~26 employees (machine operators, machinists, assemblers).
• Plan, schedule, and direct hourly workforce to meet daily production targets.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct accident investigations.
• Drive continuous improvement via 5S, Kaizen, and value-stream metrics.
