Job summary

Mack Technologies Cd. Juárez is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Massachusetts, Westford, to direct the operations team and optimize processes to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.

You will coordinate with planning, quality, engineering, and program management to maintain staffing, perform capacity analyses, and drive continuous improvement. The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, strong leadership, and familiarity with ISO9001 and IPC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, high-volume or SMT manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and IPC Standards preferred.
• Lean/Continuous Improvement background; Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• US Person as defined in 22 CRF Part 120.15 due to ITAR data.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the production schedule based on the MRP.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to continually improve safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
• Ensure the department is properly staffed to hit delivery/productivity goals.
• Meet customer demand by scheduling staff and equipment.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations to achieve accurate direct labor staffing levels.
• Work with engineering to provide procedures and training to employees.
• Maintain production capacity vs. demand and analyze labor efficiency data.
• Analyze daily operating reports and shift resources as needed.
• Assist in training Operations teams on processes.
• Maintain daily management systems and participate in Gemba activities.
• Ensure equipment PMs are up to date.
• Participate on NPI teams and support startup of new processes.
• Drive cross-functional resolution of manufacturing issues.
• Prepare work-in-process status reports.
• Support capital equipment requests and purchases.
• Develop product knowledge for discussions on availability and quality.
• Conduct root-cause analysis (5 Whys) for unstable processes and implement corrective actions.
• Other duties as needed.
