Job summary

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) for a manufacturing company in the Sturbridge, MA area. The role leads a 25+ person production department and partners with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Finance to drive performance.

Responsibilities include coaching team leads, monitoring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity, and driving continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements.
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a production department with 25+ employees, ensuring staffing aligns with production goals.
• Coach and develop team leads and operators, fostering accountability and engagement.
• Monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Finance to resolve issues and improve performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Oversee training programs, skill matrices, and onboarding.
• Manage labor utilization, attendance, scheduling, PTO, and payroll timekeeping accuracy.
• Support GMP and documentation compliance while maintaining efficient operations.
