The ideal candidate has an associate degree with 1–2 years of related manufacturing experience, strong leadership, and the ability to implement equipment and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; plus 1–2 years related manufacturing experience or training.
• Experience supervising 20+ hourly employees in molding/assembly environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, procedures, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of 20+ hourly employees in molding/assembly operations.
• Develops daily production schedules to meet quality and output goals.
• Provides technical leadership for department; recommends equipment, process and material improvements.
• Analyzes workforce utilization, space requirements and workflow; designs layouts for equipment/workspace.
• Ensures ISO procedures are followed and products meet quality standards; supports SPC and quality systems.
• Ensures safety training is completed; fosters a safe work environment and leads safety team.
• Maintains communication with business units, customers, and internal departments; coordinates WIP and process improvements.
• Researches equipment procurement options and evaluates new technologies and expansion plans.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
