Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for our Streetsboro, Ohio facility on 2nd shift (5:00 pm–3:30 am). You will support manufacturing operations by diagnosing, repairing, and preventing equipment failures to maximize plant productivity and uptime.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated systems, read schematics, and work with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance practices and safety on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environments or equivalent.
• Experience with PLC/automation equipment and electrical/electronic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, etc.
• Use schematics and docs to identify root causes and restore operation.
• Respond quickly to downtime to minimize disruptions.
• Own problems from diagnosis to repair and prevention.
