Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for 2nd shift (4:30 pm - 1:00 am, hours may vary). Training occurs Day Shift. Responsible for installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems to ensure production quality.

You will monitor machinery, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and follow safety protocols. Overtime and variable shift lengths may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
• 1–3 years related maintenance experience in a maintenance mechanic role.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules when working with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Install and repair electrical equipment and control systems per blueprints and specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machinery to ensure quality output.
• Lead minor repairs to building infrastructure as needed.
• Provide on-the-job direction to junior maintenance staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the work area.
