Job summary
Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for the Marion, OH area. The role covers diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment on a 3rd shift with overtime as needed.
You will troubleshoot PC/PLC controlled systems, read schematics, and collaborate to minimize downtime and maximize plant productivity. Qualified candidates have 5+ years of maintenance experience in industrial settings, strong diagnostic skills,
Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial environments or equivalent.
- Strong troubleshooting in PLCs, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Own equipment reliability and troubleshooting from diagnosis to repair.
- Perform preventive maintenance on welders, conveyors, and automated equipment.
- Collaborate with production and engineering to improve performance and uptime.
- Follow safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Maintain organized work environment and accurate maintenance records.
- Identify opportunities to prevent recurring issues and improve reliability.
