Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Streetsboro, OH for the 2nd shift (5:00 pm–3:30 am). You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and automated equipment to keep production moving.

This hands-on role offers ownership of equipment issues and opportunities to improve reliability, safety, and uptime while applying and growing electrical, mechanical, automation, and safety skills in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and equipment documentation.
• Experience repairing automated manufacturing equipment.
• Commitment to safety and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment and sensors to minimize downtime.
• Use schematics and documentation to identify root causes and restore operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on welders, conveyors, and automation systems.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve reliability and uptime.
