Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift (4:30 PM - 3:30 AM, Monday-Friday with Saturday shifts as needed). The role focuses on maintaining complex manufacturing equipment, ensuring reliable production, and working with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and repair issues.

Ideal candidates will have prior manufacturing maintenance experience, knowledge of OSHA requirements, and the ability to read electrical schematics and understand

Qualifications

• Previous Manufacturing Maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, mechanical, electrical, and PLC controlled systems is required.
• Basic skills reading and understanding electrical schematics and pneumatic/hydraulic principles are necessary.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles such as voltage and current.
• Experience troubleshooting machines (PLC, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic).

Responsibilities

• Performs equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Works with production departments to troubleshoot and repair equipment problems.
• Supports maintenance inventory by researching parts and keeping track of usage.
• Follows safety practices including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Assists in projects and changes to lines and setup of new lines.
• Attends maintenance training on site and off site.
• Supports production lines on a daily basis.
