Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift to diagnose, repair, and maintain critical production equipment. You will troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, electrical and mechanical components, and contribute to reliability and safety initiatives.

You will perform preventive maintenance, document activities, and work with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and improve plant performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment or equivalent experience with computer-controlled equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge in PLC and computer-controlled equipment, electrical/electronic systems, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, technical diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Experience in automated manufacturing equipment and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and other control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on welders, conveyors, and automated assembly equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement for reliability and uptime.
