Job summary

Medline Industries, LP seeks a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (Tuesday-Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) to set up, adjust, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment. The role focuses on conveyors, automation, robotics, and facility systems with strong documentation in CMMS.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 3 years in related maintenance, and proficiency with Excel; willing to travel up to 10% as needed. Physical demands apply and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment.
• Basic skill level in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair out-of-service equipment; escalate to leadership as needed.
• Record maintenance issues in the maintenance log for each line.
• Document work in CMMS and ticketing systems and maintain operating logs.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Assist with building and facility projects such as light bulb replacement, carpentry, plumbing, etc.
• Assemble and test equipment to verify correct operation.
• Analyze production delays and prevent recurrences.
• Address defects and determine corrective actions.
