Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Illinois. The role involves setting up, adjusting, and repairing equipment, with emphasis on conveyors, automation, robotics, and facility systems.

Expect to document activities and analyze downtime to improve production efficiency. The ideal candidate has at least three years of related experience, CMMS familiarity, and the ability to work safely with PPE while meeting overtime needs.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Conveyor belt experience.
• Clean Room experience.
• Basic skill level in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with inputs/outputs and PLC logic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment and escalate as needed.
• Record maintenance issues in the CMMS and maintain operation logs.
• Document work in CMMS and ticketing systems and test fire pumps, generators, HVAC, and related systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of major downtime events.
• Assist other maintenance staff and perform facility project tasks as assigned.
• Assemble and test equipment to verify correct operation.
• Analyze production delays and implement corrective actions.
