Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 2nd shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm) to keep production running smoothly. You will repair and maintain production equipment, train operators, and coordinate with contractors for scheduled services.

Strong electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic knowledge and CMMS skills are required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years in industrial maintenance, and OSHA PIT/scissor lift certification.

Qualifications

• General high school degree, or equivalent (e.g. GED).
• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance in manufacturing, food preferred.
• Electrical or programming experience preferred (2+ years).
• Know pneumatic and hydraulic systems and able to read schematics.
• OSHA PIT and scissor lift certification required.
• Proficient with CMMS and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors for scheduled services.
• Train machine operators to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Maintain PM records in the CMMS and track spare parts.
• Keep facility in safe, compliant condition and manage facility repairs.
