Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) to support our Georgia facility. You will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and coordinating with contractors for scheduled service.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of industrial maintenance experience, with electrical or programming background and knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems. OSHA certification and CMMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• General high school degree or equivalent
• Minimum five years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
• At least 2 years of electrical or programming experience preferred
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools and precision measuring
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring repairs and installations, AC/DC controls and schematics
• PIT and scissor lift OSHA certification required
• CMMS data entry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Coordinate with contractors for scheduled services
• Maintain records of PMs and repairs in CMMS
• Keep facility in safe, compliant condition and oversee facility repairs
• Organize maintenance shop, tools, and spare parts
• Manage time and priorities to minimize production downtime
• Support food safety and GMP/SQF compliance
