Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to troubleshoot, maintain, repair and modify production equipment across a busy facility. You will follow GMP and safety standards, working with a team to ensure uptime and operability, while documenting activities and adhering to quality controls.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of maintenance experience; 2–4 years data interpretation in maintenance is preferred, with an OSHA forklift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 1-2 years interpret data requiring advanced skills in production maintenance; reading drawings, specifications, charts, meters and diagnostic equipment.
• 2-4 years preferred with advanced skills in production maintenance; readings of drawings, specifications, charts, meters and diagnostic equipment.
• OSHA forklift operator certificate (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, perform safety checks on equipment, obtain supplies and prepare for operations.
• Perform regular mechanical inspections, complete checklists, troubleshoot and make routine repairs; handle major repairs as needed.
• Service and repair production units, engines, leaks, and recharge production units.
• Operate welding equipment to repair production-related issues.
• Maintain logs, records, checklists and reports; keep tools and work area clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties; secure equipment and complete required paperwork at shift end.
