Job summary

Home Chef is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) with Sundays and Mondays off. The role focuses on repairs and preventative maintenance of production and facility equipment to keep the line running.

Candidate should have five years of industrial maintenance experience, knowledge of pneumatics/hydraulics, electrical wiring, and CMMS proficiency. Responsibilities include installing equipment, training operators, maintaining PM schedules, and ensuring GMP/SQF

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, food manufacturing preferred.
• At least 2 years of electrical or programming experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems required.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and precision measuring devices.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring repairs and installations, AC/DC controls and diagrams.
• PIT and scissor lift OSHA certification required.
• Proficient CMMS data entry and equipment history documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production equipment to avoid downtime.
• Install and commission new production equipment.
• Train machine operators to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Read manuals to troubleshoot equipment and assess functionality.
• Maintain PM records in CMMS and order spare parts as needed.
• Keep the facility and equipment compliant with GMP and SQF standards.
• Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop and audit readiness.
• Prioritize work orders and communicate progress to management.
