Job summary

Home Chef is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on facility and production equipment at our Lithia Springs, GA site. You will ensure minimal production downtime by proactively servicing motors, conveyors, and related systems, while coordinating with contractors for scheduled services.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial maintenance, 2+ years in electrical or programming, and strong knowledge of pneumatic/hydraulic systems, electrical wiring,

Qualifications

• Five+ years in industrial maintenance in manufacturing (food manufacturing preferred).
• At least 2 years in electrical or programming experience.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and precision measuring devices.
• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, AC/DC controls and schematics.
• PIT and scissor lift OSHA certification required.
• Proficient CMMS data input/output and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on facility and production equipment to keep production running smoothly.
• Read manuals, troubleshoot equipment, and guide operators to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Execute preventative maintenance plans as scheduled by Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain facility and equipment compliance with safety and quality programs.
• Organize maintenance shop and manage spare parts, tools, and records.
• Prioritize work orders, communicate progress, and meet timelines.
• Support the company’s safety and SQF food safety programs.
