Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for our Streetsboro, Ohio facility on 2nd shift (5:00 pm–3:30 am). You will diagnose, repair, and optimize mechanical, electrical, and automated systems to improve plant productivity and reliability.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with production and engineering to minimize downtime while maintaining safety standards and quality.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with PLC and computer-controlled equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and equipment diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA rules.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and other controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance on welders, conveyors, and assembly equipment.
• Develop and follow preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership to resolve issues.
