Job summary

Woodgrain seeks an entry level 2nd shift Maintenance Tech ll at our Monroe, NC facility. The role focuses on repairing and installing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety on the production floor.

Ideal candidates will learn on the job, with opportunities to work with pumps, motors, conveyors, and electrical components while supporting quality and production goals in a non-climate-controlled plant.

Qualifications

• Entry level maintenance role requiring root-cause analysis and safe work practices.
• Must be safety-minded and willing to learn with on-the-job training.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment including pumps, gear reducers, seals, bearings, blowers and conveyors.
• Install new equipment as necessary.
• Repair electrical equipment including motors, control wiring, VFDs, sensors and controls.
• Perform preventative maintenance per MVP software.
• Operate small and large machines and inspect products for quality.
• Use hand and power tools, read orders and schedules, stage and package finished products.
• Lift heavy materials up to 60–100 lbs; overtime and other duties as assigned.
