Job summary
ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an Experienced General Maintenance Technician to join our Monroe, NC plant on 3rd shift. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, including automation and CNC systems, and keep facilities in top condition.
The role requires hands-on skills in welding, metal fabrication, piping, carpentry, and the ability to read machine prints. You will work with forklifts/scissor lifts and comply with safety, 5S, and ISO standards while supporting lean
Qualifications
- Candidates must have broad maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities including welding, brazing, cutting, and metal fabrication.
- Ability to read machine prints and measure with micrometers and calipers.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment and automation/CNC systems.
- Perform facility maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and painting.
- Follow electrical codes and ISO procedures; maintain 5S housekeeping.
- Work with minimal supervision and collaborate in a team; willing to overtime.
