American Wood Fibers is seeking a Senior Millwright/Electromechanical Technician for the 2nd shift at the Laurinburg, NC facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in a safe, efficient manner, with emphasis on maintenance, quality, and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs, setting up machinery for production runs, and reading manuals and work orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Technical Degree required.
• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs of production equipment.
• Reads and interprets manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Safely operates mobile equipment and adheres to safety rules.
• Supports the Maintenance Supervisor and participates in safety meetings.
