Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC is seeking a Maintenance PM Tech - 1st Shift (Weekend Shift) at our Cayce, SC bakery. You will maintain and repair production and facility systems to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency, minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting across bakery operations.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and documentation, with a weekend schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Fri-Sun, Mon).

Qualifications

High school diploma and 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience, or 6+ years without a diploma.
Experience in refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, or process controls.
Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and control diagrams.
Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance, equipment overhauls, and system improvements.
Install and maintain control systems, instrumentation, and automated production equipment.
Diagnose equipment issues and provide technical support to resolve challenges.
Operate maintenance tools, lifts, and material-handling equipment safely.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in systems.
Ensure GMP, food safety, quality, and safety standards compliance.
