Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator for our Riverside location to manage inventory, operations, and administrative processes that drive service efficiency and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes accurate PartsNet updates, cycle counts, and warranty coordination.

Responsibilities include overseeing inventory productivity, processing parts orders, and supporting the branch finance team to enhance profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred.
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to collaborate with branch team members.
• Competent written and verbal communication skills.
• 2 years+ experience in customer service and operations experience required.
• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred.
• Agile and quick learner, enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education.
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch inventory productivity to support timely service and minimize loss.
• Order parts daily with centralized processes to ensure on-time, defect-free deliveries.
• Receive and store parts; conduct frequent cycle counts; update PartsNet timely.
• Manage new and used battery inventory and ensure tires are on hand in correct quantities.
• Ensure warranty items are shipped timely and follow up with warranty department.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts arrive.
• Provide vendor support and ensure correct payments processing.
• Support branch financial manager to contribute to profitability.
• Projects and tasks assigned by Branch Financial Manager and District Financial Manager
