Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform emergency and preventative repairs on plant machinery and infrastructure, ensuring minimal production downtime. You will follow SOPs, maintain safe work areas, and support TPM initiatives while working 2nd shift, Mon-Fri 2:30 PM-11:30 PM.

The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, safety training, basic PC skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience and related safety training.
• Trained in safety practices and lockout/tagout protocols.
• Ability to operate basic electrical and mechanical testing tools.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at height as needed.
• Proficient with basic PC tasks and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency and preventative repairs on plant machinery.
• Minimize production downtime from equipment breakdowns.
• Provide stock replenishment information and coordinate orders.
• Develop and review standard operating procedures for maintenance.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and comply with safety standards.
• Support TPM initiatives and understand hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Read blueprints and select appropriate fasteners for tasks.
