Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our Streetsboro, Ohio facility. You will diagnose problems, repair mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, and drive preventive maintenance to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in PLCs, electrical and electronic systems, pneumatics, and mechanical repair.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical diagrams.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment and industrial control systems.
• Use electrical schematics and technical documentation to identify root causes and restore operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on critical production equipment and contribute to maintenance programs.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve reliability and uptime.
