Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marion, Ohio, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to own equipment reliability and drive uptime in a 3rd shift role. You will diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical issues on PLC-controlled manufacturing lines, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with engineering and production leadership to keep the plant productive.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge in PLCs, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and equipment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot PC/PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and other control systems.
• Respond to downtime with urgency to minimize interruptions and maintain plant productivity.
• Perform preventive maintenance on welders, conveyors, and assembly equipment.
• Coordinate with OEM support and team members to complete complex repairs.
