Zaddy Solutions in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a Die Cast Changeover Specialist for the 2nd shift. You will lead complete die changes, set machine parameters, and troubleshoot high-pressure aluminum die casting equipment in a fast-paced, ISO-certified facility known for stability and strong OEM partnerships.

The role requires 2+ years of tenure, hands-on setup experience, and the ability to commute within 45 minutes of Cedarburg.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• Hands-on die cast setup or heavy machinery changeover experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting in hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute Die Changes & Setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting machines and automation equipment.
• Set Process Parameters: melt temps, hydraulic pressures, shot speeds, cycle timing.
• Install Tooling & Auxiliaries: dies, trim tools, shot-end components, coolant lines.
• Troubleshoot Process & Quality: resolve setup, machine or casting defects to reduce scrap.
• Verify System Functionality: inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, water/cooling, spray/ladle systems.
• Coordinate with Quality and Production for first-piece inspection approvals.
• Enforce Safety Standards: follow LOTO, crane safety, and molten metal handling procedures.
