Qualifications

• Require 2+ years at each prior employer.
• Hands-on setup/changeover in die casting or heavy manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting in hydraulics/pneumatics and reading complex setup sheets.
• Ability to safely operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete die changes and tooling setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting machines and related automation.
• Set and fine-tune critical process parameters (melt temps, pressures, speeds, cycle timing).
• Rig and install dies, tools, and cooling systems using lifting equipment.
• Troubleshoot setup, machine, or casting defects to minimize scrap and optimize cycles.
• Inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, water/cooling, and spray systems before production.
• Collaborate with Quality/Production for first-piece inspections and sign-off.
• Follow LOTO and crane safety protocols during all operations.
