Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Cedarburg, WI seeks a Die Cast Changeover Specialist – High-Pressure Aluminum & Hydraulics on 2nd shift. Direct-hire, up to $41.00/hr with solid benefits.

Lead die changes, set process parameters, rig tooling, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems on high‑pressure aluminum die casting equipment. A minimum of 2 years at prior employers, US work authorization, and a 45-minute commute to Cedarburg is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of tenure at each previous employer.
• Hands-on die cast setup or changeover experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience operating cranes and forklifts; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Execute Die Changes & Setups for high-pressure aluminum die casting machines and automation equipment.
• Set Process Parameters: melt temperatures, hydraulic pressures, shot speeds, and cycle timing.
• Install Tooling & Auxiliaries: rig, align, and install dies, trim tools, and related components.
• Troubleshoot Process & Quality: diagnose setup, machine, or casting defects during startups and production.
• Verify System Functionality: inspect hydraulic, pneumatic, water/cooling, and automated systems.
• Conduct First-Piece Inspections with Quality and Production for setup sheets.
• Enforce Safety Standards: follow LOTO, crane safety protocols, and safe metal handling.
