Amrize in Rockville, MD is seeking a 2nd Shift Utility Operator to support quarry operations. You will operate heavy equipment, perform routine inspections, and assist with maintenance while following strict safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial or recycling environment.
Hands-on experience with wheel loaders and dozers preferred.
Experience in quarry, aggregate, construction, mining, or similar environment.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment including wheel loaders and dozers to support quarry production.
Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections of heavy equipment and report safety concerns.
Assist with maintenance and servicing of crushers, conveyors, and other quarry equipment.
Maintain quarry roads, stockpiles, and drainage systems for safe operations.
Adhere to safety policies, PPE requirements, and environmental standards.
