Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification in manufacturing, shipbuilding, or trades.
• Experience or training aligned with shipbuilding or manufacturing environments.
• Strength in supervision and training of skilled trades personnel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel according to skill and experience.
• Trains employees to improve quality and productivity and develops training procedures.
• Breaks broad strategies into practical action plans and ensures adherence to drawings and procedures.

Education

Bachelor's Degree OR

Apprentice Certification OR

High School and 4 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience OR

Associate Degree in a Trade/Technical and 3 years of relevant manufacturing, shipbuilding, trade and/or military experience
