Job summary

Calise and Sons Bakery in Lincoln, RI is hiring a Food Quality Assurance Technician for the 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:00pm). The role requires prior experience in food safety/quality control and may require bilingual Spanish communication.

You will work with Production, Packaging and Engineering to ensure material and product quality and document findings. The candidate should be able to read and interpret standards, perform quality tests, and support GMPs and audits in a fast-paced bakery

Qualifications

• Experience in food industry quality control is required.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret standards and specifications.
• Strong understanding of food safety and product quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Verify quality of incoming materials including raw and packaging.
• Work with Production, Packaging and Engineering to resolve quality issues.
• Perform pre-flight quality inspections at shift start with cross-department teams.
• Follow QC procedures to ensure measures are performed and non-conformances documented.
• Document and communicate quality findings to appropriate parties.
• Monitor allergen program to prevent cross-contamination.
• Support GMPs and participate in audits.
