The Fremont Company in Rockford, Ohio, seeks an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, supervise staff, and maintain product quality. The role requires hands-on leadership in a food manufacturing setting to meet safety and efficiency targets.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in food processing, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple lines in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to GMPs and safety protocols.

Qualificações

• Supervisory experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in leading production teams and ensuring safety and quality.
• Ability to manage multiple lines and schedules.
• Good knowledge of GMPs and food safety standards.
• Proficient in basic computer systems.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise second-shift production employees and ensure safe operations.
• Monitor lines to meet quality and productivity targets.
• Coordinate staffing, break coverage, and shift handoffs.
• Review schedules and ensure materials and ingredients are available.
• Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance on issues.
• Oversee line changeovers and troubleshooting.
• Ensure GMP compliance and safety procedures.
• Train employees on processes and equipment.
• Complete production documentation and downtime reports.
• Communicate updates to plant management.
• Lead shift handoff meetings.
