Job summary

OSI Group is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift in Oakland. You will lead a production team, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations to deliver high-quality meat products.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include resource planning, performance tracking, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining HACCP and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in related field.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and lean manufacturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to coach and develop team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of production employees to meet goals.
• Plan daily resources to safely and cost-effectively meet production targets.
• Document production activities and communicate variances in meetings.
• Coordinate maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Drive continuous improvement and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
