Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Columbus, OH to lead a manufacturing team and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food processing, with familiarity in USDA and HACCP standards.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Meat/Agriculture Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to make quick and sound decisions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures, GMPs, safety standards, and global standards such as BRC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain safety, quality, and production standards within the assigned department.
• Ensure proper staffing requirements are met and enforce all safety practices.
• Prepare daily efficiency reports and monitor key performance indicators to meet or exceed targets.
• Verify compliance with HACCP documents and monitor GMPs to uphold food safety standards.
• Apply BRC principles and relevant training to team members to ensure standards are maintained.
