Job summary

Calise & Sons Bakery is seeking a Production Line Leader to guide a packaging line team toward the highest food safety, quality and efficiency standards. You will drive continuous improvement, train staff in safety and SOPs, and coordinate line activities to meet KPIs.

Responsibilities include supervising line workers, ensuring HACCP/GMP compliance, and maintaining thorough documentation. Weekend/evening shifts and hot environments are expected in this role.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication; Spanish preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Minimum of 2-5 years experience in the food industry.
• Demonstrable understanding of HACCP, GMPs, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Assign all employees to workstations.
• Coach, counsel and train packaging line personnel.
• Coordinate packaging line operations to meet food safety standards.
• Support GMP, HACCP, Food Defense and BRC programs and audits.
• Oversee line operations including proofer, oven, packing and packaging activities.
• Maintain documentation and line performance reports.
• Conduct weekly line meetings and daily shift huddles.
• Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and improvements.
