Job summary

Crown Bakeries is seeking a Packaging Lead to oversee packaging operations and lead a results-driven team. You will ensure line readiness, monitor production against targets, and drive continuous improvement in equipment and processes.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to standard work across shifts. You will train and mentor team members, manage materials and inventories, and coordinate with supervisors to maintain efficient run schedules while sustaining Crown Bakeries’ values

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must be flexible with schedule, including start times and weekend work.
• Willing to acquire a wide variety of skills to assist the surrounding team.
• Able to work in a noisy environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Drive for results and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in line setup and changeover of product, identifying critical controls and issues.
• Monitor hourly production vs. targets and apply countermeasures if necessary.
• Train, develop, and motivate team members on job performance, quality expectations, and standardized work.
• Ensure safety and quality by following GMP, sanitation, and safety inspections.
• Communicate production goals to the next shift and maintain production run sheets.
• Maintain raw material inventory and communicate discrepancies as needed.
