Job summary

OSI Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2nd shift (1:30-10pm) in Oakland. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, and ensure equipment reliability to minimize downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5+ years in maintenance with leadership experience. Candidates must be able to manage multiple priorities and uphold safety and food safety programs.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years in maintenance-related roles with supervision.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff to keep production equipment in optimum condition.
• Respond promptly to equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain spare parts programs and manage work orders in MP2 or similar system.
• Approve parts orders within purchasing limits and coordinate with other departments.
• Ensure a safe, clean maintenance shop and proper PPE usage.
