Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking an on-site Production Supervisor to lead the second shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM) and ensure smooth production flow, safety, and quality. You will coordinate scheduling, monitor processes, and coach staff to meet daily goals and customer commitments.

The role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a track record in manufacturing, preferably food/beverage. Join a team focused on GMP, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production staff in manufacturing.
• Ability to implement and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Familiarity with GMP and food safety requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and plant computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision to production employees and schedule work to meet daily goals.
• Monitor milk processing steps (receiving, standardizing, pasteurization, separating, filling, packaging).
• Ensure equipment is functioning, cleaned, sanitized, and repaired when needed.
• Promote safe work behaviors and conduct safety investigations; report injuries to HR.
• Administer policies and programs related to operations and food safety.
• Oversee production scheduling to meet orders and optimize materials for runs.
