Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a production supervisor to lead shift operations, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time product fulfillment. You will guide team members, manage schedules, and enforce company policies while coordinating with maintenance and quality assurance to achieve daily goals.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and a focus on continuous improvement within a food-and-beverage environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing or food/beverage supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude or prior team lead experience.
• Certification and/or license may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, assign work, and provide clear direction to production employees; ensure production flow and daily goals.
• Monitor operations (milk receiving, standardizing, pasteurization, separating, filling, packaging) to meet production and quality standards.
• Oversee equipment usage and sanitation; arrange timely repairs.
• Promote safe work behaviors; conduct injury investigations and report to HR.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, GMP, and company policies; manage scheduling for material readiness.
• Supervise production scheduling to meet orders and productivity goals; coordinate material staging.
