Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Production Supervisor for the third shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00pm-6:30am) in Nashville. You will direct and mentor production staff, ensure smooth workflow, and meet daily production goals while upholding food safety and GMP standards.

You will monitor processes, schedule materials, address equipment issues, and enforce safety policies. Strong leadership and English proficiency required; high school diploma and 2–5 years in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food/beverage manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude or supervisory experience.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsabilités

• Schedule, assign work, and provide clear direction to production employees and meet daily goals.
• Monitor milk receiving, standardizing, pasteurization, separating, freezing, cooling, filling, packaging and storage to ensure quality.
• Oversee equipment use and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
• Promote safe work behaviors and investigate injuries, reporting to HR.
• Ensure food safety and quality policies are administered and followed.
• Supervise production scheduling to align with orders and materials readiness.
• Look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage employee relations, discipline, grievances, and shift communications.
• Complete supervisory tasks such as promotions, timekeeping, performance reviews, coaching and training.
• Maintain safe conditions and compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to DFA policies and food safety, sanitation standards.
