Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift in a food processing environment in Wisconsin. The role offers a starting base rate of $31.00 per hour with premium overtime, time-and-a-half after 8 hours and double-time on Sundays, plus a full corporate benefits package.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of dedicated industrial maintenance experience, strong hydraulics/pneumatics skills, and the ability to work safely in a GMP-compliant facility while

Qualifications

• 1+ year of dedicated industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a fast-paced production setting.
• Core strength in hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Ability to troubleshoot high-speed packaging equipment and conveyors.
• Comfort with basic structural welding and fabrication.
• Work in a food-safe environment with GMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-speed processing lines and perform rapid fault-tracing and emergency repairs.
• Service conveyors and drive assemblies, rebuilds, and optimize systems.
• Diagnose and service fluid power systems including hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Execute structural modifications using MIG/TIG welding to repair or reinforce equipment.
• Ensure adherence to sanitation guidelines, safety protocols, and GMP requirements.
