Job summary

Mindscope in Jefferson, WI is seeking a Production Supervisor for 2nd shift in a food & beverage packaging environment. You will lead a greenhouse-style, heavily automated facility ensuring safety, quality, and throughput on a fixed 2nd shift schedule.

You will drive shift operations, optimize labor, and mentor a diverse team while navigating union dynamics and ERP-based workload tracking. Competitive base pay with Saturday overtime and annual bonus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory experience in a sanitary or highly regulated plant.
• Leadership ability to direct and coach a diverse production team.
• Comfort with union environments and fair labor practices.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES production tracking and MS Office tools.
• Stable tenure and reliable attendance within manufacturing.
• Local commute within 45-minute drive of Jefferson, WI.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct shift leadership, schedule management, and labor allocation.
• Maximize line throughput, minimize downtime, and meet targets.
• Enforce food safety protocols per FDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP.
• Lead continuous improvement projects (Lean/5S) to improve OEE.
• Facilitate cross-shift handoffs between first and second shifts.
• Maintain safety, quality and shift performance logs via ERP tools.
